Why MAYOR WOLF

Designed for outdoor
conditions.

Compare the panel, battery, housing and controls before choosing a model. Component options and performance vary by product.

Technical features

Monocrystalline solar panels

Listed panel options include 6V monocrystalline panels with conversion efficiency up to 22%. They can generate electricity in cloudy weather, although charging depends on available sunlight. Tempered glass protects the panel surface. Confirm the panel specification and environmental limits for the chosen model.

LiFePO4 batteries

Listed battery options use Grade-A lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, rated for 2,000+ deep-discharge cycles. The 3.2V configuration includes a battery management system with overcharge protection, temperature cut-off and cell balancing. Listed charging and lighting durations are 5.5–6.5 hours and 12–18 hours respectively; actual performance depends on the model, sunlight, battery capacity and operating mode.

IP65 / IP67 protection

Die-cast aluminium housings use seals for outdoor service. IP65/IP67 ratings describe protection against dust and water under specified test conditions; check the exact rating for the chosen model. The listed operating-temperature range is −20°C to 60°C.

Lighting controls

Control options include a dusk-to-dawn sensor, RF remote brightness adjustment from 25% to 100%, timer presets of 4, 6, 8 or 12 hours, and operating-mode selection. Some models offer a microwave radar sensor that increases brightness when movement is detected and dims the light when the area is empty. Confirm the controls included with your model.

SMD / COB LED technology

Listed LED options include SMD 5730 and COB arrays with efficacy of 100–120 lumens per watt. Colour-temperature options include 3000K warm white for landscape lighting, 4000K neutral white for paths, and 6500K cool white for roads and security areas. Use the model’s optical data and site layout to assess coverage and spacing.

Outdoor construction

Listed construction options include die-cast aluminium, an anti-corrosion coating, a tempered-glass lens, UV-resistant seals and 304 stainless-steel mounting hardware. Confirm the materials and service-life requirements for the selected model, especially at coastal or exposed sites.

Understanding specifications

Choose specifications for the actual site.

A larger wattage label does not automatically mean a better choice. Solar lighting performance depends on the installation area, sunlight, pole height, battery capacity and operating mode.

01 Panel and battery specifications determine the available energy.

02 Check the IP rating for the expected dust, rain and exposure.

03 Sensors and dimming modes can reduce battery consumption.

04 Match the colour temperature to the use of the area.

Project requirements

What to confirm before choosing a product

We help match specifications to the site conditions. Reviewing the actual location and operating requirements reduces the risk of choosing an unsuitable model.

Night-time operating hours

A target of 10, 12 or 18 hours affects the recommended battery capacity and control mode.

Mounting height

Higher mounting positions require careful selection of the beam angle, output and spacing between lights.

Site conditions

Consider shade from trees and buildings, coastal exposure and flood risk when choosing panel placement and protection ratings.
